Our vet clinics at Colchester and Chelmsford are open Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm. If your pet has an emergency during our normal opening hours, please call the clinic and we will advise you what to do next.

If you are registered with our veterinary clinics and have an emergency when we are closed, you can contact us on 07527 180593 between 4.30 pm to 6.30pm Monday to Friday and between 8.30am to 12pm (midday) on Saturday. If you have an emergency after 6:30pm Monday – Friday or on a Saturday afternoon, Sunday or Bank Holiday, our emergency out-of-hours service is provided by our partners, Vets Now.

Vets Now have specially trained vets and vet nurses in emergency and critical care who work from clinics nearby our practice. You have the option of visiting either Colchester or Witham.

Please note that Vets Now is a private veterinary out of hours service and their charges will therefore be higher than the subsidised charges made at our clinics. Clients are responsible for payment of fees in full at the time. Our branch is unable to reimburse our registered clients for any treatment paid to a private practice.

We would remind you that Vets Now is a pet emergency service. For routine cases, such as vaccinations and topical treatments, please call us as you would normally, during our daytime opening hours.
