MHA offices

We’d like to say a huge thank you to to the Colchester team at top 30 accountancy firm MHA, following their generous £370 donation to support local animal welfare!

The vital funds, championed by MHA Partner Ryan Swann and his local team, will go directly toward helping our branch continue our essential work rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming animals in need across the mid and north Essex community.

As a separately registered charity from the national RSPCA, we receive no automatic funding from the national body and is entirely reliant on local support, donations, and businesses to fund its vital animal welfare
work.

The connection between the two organisations grew through their shared
membership in the Essex Chambers of Commerce, highlighting the powerful impactof local businesses coming together to support independent local causes.

Derrick Yapp, Income Generation Manager at RSPCA Essex Mid & North, said:

“We are incredibly grateful to Ryan and the entire team at MHA in Colchester for this wonderful donation. This support means a great deal to us, especially as many people don’t realise we are a completely self-funded, independent local charity.

We rely entirely on the generosity of our local community to keep our doors open, so these funds will go a long way in helping us care for vulnerable animals right here in Essex.

As fellow members of the Essex Chambers, we love seeing local businesses get
behind great local causes. We are looking forward to exploring how we can work
together more closely in the future on collaborative initiatives that benefit the area.”
