As a local branch of the RSPCA we rely on the generosity of the public to enable us to provide vital animal welfare services to animals locally.
By providing a gift to us in your will you will enable us to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome animals who have often suffered abuse or neglect – with your help we can provide them with a brighter future.

Some animals need help because they have been badly treated or abandoned and we ensure that they are given veterinary treatment and then find safe and loving homes for them – we rehome around 300 animals each year.
We also have veterinary clinics in Chelmsford and Colchester, where we provide veterinary treatment for pet owners on low incomes – we have more than 10,000 clients registered and treat around 3,500 animals each year. To date we have provided more than 26,000 veterinary treatments to pets!
Without this vital service many animals would not be able to access veterinary care.
This vital work comes at an ever increasing cost.
Our annual vet costs and boarding fees are more than £270,000.
A legacy to the RSPCA Essex Mid & North Branch will provide crucial funds. We could not carry out our work without such generous support.
You can do this by leaving a gift to us in your will or by adding a codicil (a document which specifies alterations to your will).
If you would like to leave a gift to us, please remember that the RSPCA Essex Mid & North Branch and all the other RSPCA branches are separate registered charities. Therefore, you will need to specify the full branch name, charity number and address if you would like the animals in your local area to benefit from your gift.
