Branch Manager

My whole career has been animal based since I left school. I spent 18 years working as a veterinary nurse. I have spent 12 years doing many animal charity events overseas on my holidays with other veterinary professionals and making the move to the charity sector to aid animal welfare on a full-time basis just felt like the perfect path for me to follow. I live with 3 cats that keep me entertained.

Income Generation Manager

I’ve worked in the charity sector most of my life including Help the Aged, Anchor Trust and 10 years with the National RSPCA, I joined the Branch October 2020 as the Retail Manager overseeing the activity of the three existing shops and opening new ones along the way. I absolutely love working with the staff, volunteers, and trustees here as it is such a positive team, and we deliver such fantastic animal welfare through our clinics and the rehoming activities. I am proud that all profits we make through retail and income generation goes directly to this charitable work. A significant part of my job is devoted to promoting our work, through social media, talking to groups of adults and presenting at school assemblies. When I’m not dreaming up the next way of making more money for the animals, I love playing guitar, football, keeping fit, and in recent times have learned a bit of ballroom & Latin dance. No doubt, I’ll try to bring these aspects into a fundraising event someday.
